How Can We Help You?
Find answers to common questions about registering, verifying, financing, and tracking receivables on Invoice Dom.
General Overview
What is Invoice Dom?
Invoice Dom is Dominica's digital receivables registry. It connects Sellers, Buyers, and Financial Intermediaries on a centralized, transparent platform to register, verify, finance, and track commercial invoices and trade receivables securely.
Who can use the platform?
The platform is designed for three main participant groups in Dominica:
1. Sellers (businesses issuing invoices for goods or services).
2. Buyers (businesses receiving invoices needing to verify legitimate debts).
3. Financial Intermediaries (banks, credit unions, and licensed financiers providing receivables financing).

Is Invoice Dom a direct lender?
No. Invoice Dom is a digital infrastructure platform and registry. We do not disburse capital directly; rather, we enable licensed Financial Intermediaries to evaluate pre-verified receivables and provide funding directly to registered sellers.
For Sellers
How do I register an invoice on the registry?
After logging into your Seller account, navigate to "Invoices", click "Register New Invoice", and input the required details (invoice number, buyer information, issue date, due date, amount, and attach supporting documentation such as purchase orders or delivery notes).
How fast can I receive financing after buyer verification?
Once your buyer verifies the invoice, your financing request is submitted directly to your selected Financial Intermediary. Processing times vary by lender, but digital verification significantly speeds up due diligence, often reducing turnaround times to 24–48 hours.
For Buyers
Why should a buyer verify invoices on Invoice Dom?
Verifying invoices provides your business with a clear record of trade payables, prevents duplicate billing or invoice tampering, builds trust with your supplier base, and enables your vendors to access affordable working capital without affecting your credit terms.
Does verifying an invoice change my payment obligation or due date?
No. Verification simply confirms that the goods/services were received and that the invoice amount and payment terms are correct as agreed between you and the seller.
Financial Intermediaries
What financing requests are visible to my institution?
Financial Intermediaries only see financing requests that have been explicitly selected and submitted to their institution by registered sellers. Requests submitted to other institutions remain private and hidden.
How do we track disbursements and pay-downs?
Intermediaries have access to a dedicated portfolio dashboard to log disbursements, monitor upcoming due dates, record partial or full pay-downs, and generate exportable accounting reports.
Security & Legal
Is commercial data confidential and safe?
Yes. Invoice Dom employs bank-grade encryption protocols and strict role-based authorization rules. Your data is accessible only to authorized participants directly involved in the transaction.
How is double financing prevented?
Each invoice registered receives a unique digital identifier in the central registry. If a seller attempts to register or request financing for an already assigned invoice, the system immediately flags the conflict and blocks duplicate processing.
